About Mark Novosel

Knowledge, Passion & Experience

A lifelong interest in finance, a love of spreadsheets and a passion for property, without the usual banking background. That gives Mark a genuinely fresh approach.

After a Bachelor of Computer Science and Information Technology from the University of Sydney (2005), he began as a technology analyst, then moved into sales leadership across PropTech and FinTech startups. Despite his success, Mark wanted more.

Reading Robert Kiyosaki’s “Rich Dad Poor Dad” in 2006, he found himself nodding along, agreeing that our school system doesn’t prepare us for life’s critical financial decisions…

He completed his Certificate IV and Diploma in Mortgage Broking Management (International Institute of Technology, 2023) before founding Feather Loans. He’s completing a Diploma of Sustainable Living, focused on efficient home design, echoing his passion for property.

Success Through Education & Guidance

12 years in consultative sales, PropTech and FinTech, building relationships and solving problems, showed Mark how transactional many businesses had become, with customer service often an afterthought.

 

Mark founded Feather Loans to bridge that gap: in-depth educational content that simplifies finance and investment, backed by a premium, full-service mortgage and finance brokerage.

 

In 2024, Australian Broker profiled Feather Loans’ approach after Mark secured accreditation with 70 lenders in his first year. A deliberate move to offer clients options, most brokers don’t have access to.
