Fair Isaac Corporation, a company that develops the FICO credit scoring system used by many lenders in the US to assess the creditworthiness of borrowers. In Australia, Equifax is mainly used for credit scoring, which uses a scale ranging from 0 – 1,200 to rank credit scores. Experian and illion use a scale spanning from 0 – 1,000 and are also used by some lenders.
