Funds to Complete (FTC)

The total amount needed to cover the property purchase, including all associated costs (like stamp duty, LMI, lender and legal fees). FTC will usually be calculated by the solicitor or conveyancer prior to settlement and a mortgage broker can provide a close estimate with a buffer. The deposit paid will usually contribute towards this amount.
